Day 1
Gangtok rest and permit checks
Gangtok → Gangtok
Start: Gangtok · End: Gangtok
- Settle in; submit documents through an authorized operator
- Check health suitability before the higher-altitude drive
Overnight: Gangtok
Meals: Not included until a written operator quote confirms the meal plan
Transfers: Road durations require date-specific operator validation; allow a full transfer day where indicated.
Mountain access requires operator, permit, nationality, weather and health checks. Turn back if conditions deteriorate; private transport does not remove altitude risk.
